The invitation from a Chinese
If you ever got a chance to get invited by a Chinese friend or customer. Please try not to turn them down. The reasons are as follows:
1. You make them lose face
2. They will probably think you don't like to build the relationship.
3. Chinese are more shy, so most likely, they will not invite you again in the future.
But what if you really don't have time or not available? What should you do?
I would suggest you to give the reason first, then you definitely need to invite them to a meal later. You may get declined, if this happens, invite them for the second time. I am sure they would love to come.
