What is “xiàngmù” and “yīdiǎn”
Would “Wode xiangmu you yidian wenti” mean something along the lines of "My pupils have too many questions?

I’m not sure if “xiàngmù" would mean envoy. Because “you” means have, and “wenti” is question(s).
So overall the phrase should mean:
“Because my xiangmu have too few questions.”

Xiangmu is project or article I think, and wenti is problem. So because my project has a little problem

Phil is right. xiangmu (项目) is project, and wenti (问题) is problem or question. And xuesheng (学生) is pupil or student.
My project has some problems would be “wo de xiangmu you yidian wenti (我的项目有一点问题)”
