Hi, dàjiā hǎo, welcome back. Jīntiān nǐmen hǎo ma? (How are you guys today?) Huānyíng lái Bennysland, wǒ shì Benny (Hello everyone, welcome to Bennysland, I am Benny). This experience will show you the common public signs. They are very useful for your day-to-day life.

Alright, firstly we need to learn these two words as in China, you'll see them just about everywhere:

rùkǒu

入口

entrance

chūkǒu

出口

exit

You will see them in some pubic places such as museums:

no

chùmō

触摸

touch

shèxiàngjī

摄像机

video camera

shǎnguāngdēng

闪光灯

flash

pāizhào

拍照

photography

FOR EXAMPLE:

Qǐng wù chùmō.

Do not touch.

请勿触摸。

Qǐng wù shèxiàng.

No video cameras.

请勿摄像。

Qǐng wù shǐyòng shǎnguāngdēng pāizhào.

No flash photography.

请勿使用闪光灯拍照。

In the library, you will see :

ānjìng

安静

silent

shípǐn

食品

food

yǐnliào

饮料

drinks

FOR EXAMPLE:

Qǐng bǎochí ānjìng.

Silent, please.

请保持安静。

Shípǐn yǐnliào qǐng wù rùnèi.

No food and drinks.

食品饮料请勿入内。

These sentences always appear in our daily life and I think if you want, you can use the sentence like “Qǐng bǎochí ānjìng” in your office or home to keep quiet. Wishing you a Happy Day, my friends. See you next time, xièxie, zàijiàn!

It's easy as ABC!
