SCRIPT

Hello everyone. Welcome to Bennysland, I am Benny, your Mandarin teacher. Today, we will learn a very useful sentence, which is:

“Do you have a boyfriend?”

 

In Chinese, we say,
“Nǐ yǒu nánpéngyou ma?”
“Nǐ yǒu nánpéngyou ma?”


“Nǐ” means “you.”

 

Nǐ is “you.”

 

Yǒu” is “to have.” “Yǒu”

 

And “nánpéngyou.” “nánpéngyou”

 

It means boyfriend.

 

Ma” is a question mark, put it at the end of the sentence.

 

So, “do you have a boyfriend?” In Chinese we say,
“Nǐ yǒu nánpéngyou ma?”
“Nǐ yǒu nánpéngyou ma?”

B: Sally, jīntiān Valentine. nǐ yǒu shénme ānpái?
A: Wǒ méiyǒu ānpái.

B: Jīntiān wǎnshang wǒmen
qǐ qù kàn diànyǐng ba!

A: Hǎo a.

B: Hǎo, zǒu ba.
A: Zǒu.
