请问. How do you use the before statment. ’ yi qian) i think it is.
I would like to say: ’ before I went to my hotel, I ate beijing duck ’
I’m trying everything in the past tense. 谢谢

wǒ qù jiǔ diàn yǐ qián, wǒ chī le BeiJing kǎo yā = Before I go to my hotel, I ate Beijing duck
