ni hao, Henry. “Shèn yú” is mainly used for “time”, but sometimes it can also be used in some other cases, for example,

1. wǒ men hái shèng yú duō shǎo qián? = How much money do we have left?

2. wǒ men hái shéng yú duō shǎo rén = how many people do we have left?

3. wǒ men hái shéng yú duō shǎo pí jiǔ? = How much beer do we have left?
