thx benny for your reply, i have 2 questions i would like to ask:
1) from one of the sheng4 yu2 examples that you gave in my previous post, can i say something like “wo3 men de qian2 sheng4 yu2 hai2 you3 duo1 shao3?” (how much remaining money do we have)
2) instead of using huan2, can i use gei3 hui2 to mean ‘to return’. for example, ni3 hai2 mei2 gei3 hui2 wo3 de shu1 ?

 | | | | ni hao, Henry. Your first example for sheng4 yu2 is correct. But for return you can only use “huan2”, “gei3 hui2” doesn’t make sense in Chinese Benny
