Hello Benny, I have several questions I would like to ask:
1) is ji1 hu1 (几乎) the only word that means ‘almost’? like if i wanna say almost died/finish something, I will say ji1 hu1 si3/zuo4 wan2?
2) is it ok to say zhang4 (帐) to mean ‘owe’ instead of using qian4? like for example, wo3 hai2 zhang4 ni3 duo1 shao3 qian2? I have heard this before so I am not sure if this is right.
3) what is the meaning of ru2 he2? and how do I use it?
xie xie nin

 | | | | Hi Henry, jī hū is not the only way of saying “almost” You can also use “chà yi diǎn” for example: wǒ chà yi diǎn diū le wǒ de shǒu jī = I almost lost my mobile phone As for “帐” is one of the word of "帐户“ which means “account”. And “owe” in Chinese is only "qiàn 欠” Benny
