Alright, so I have two questions, actually. If you could answer one or both of the questions, then, xie xie ni!

Ok, so in the sentence “Ràng wǒ kǎo lǜ yī xià.”…I know what this sentence means all together (Let me think about it.). But I was wondering a) What “Ràng” means in the sentence and b) What kind of accent is “lǜ ?” because it has a different accent mark.

“Ràng wǒ kǎo lǜ yī xià.” = Please let me consider this for a moment.
The answers to your questions:
a) “Ràng” means “allow me or let me”.
“kǎo lǜ” is “consider” as opposed to “xiang3” which is “think”.
b)The accent for “lǜ” is called “Qing Sheng” meaning “soft intonation” it means pronounce this word “lightly”, usually when there is a repetitive character, the light accent marks would be used, for example the chinese characters “ma ma” mother, the second character should be accented with this “qing sheng”
Hope this help.
