Do you know a former premier of China 朱鎔基. I read his name somewhere written as 朱(金+容)基. Can you please explain me why do we have to divide 鎔 into 金+容 and write it like this?

 | | | | I know that 金 and 容 are radicals and 鎔 is formed by combining these radicals, but the question is what’s the point of writting it like by splitting the the character into radicals instead of writing it simply as 鎔. There are many words that can be split into radicals but they are not, then why this one? | | |
