what are the differences between “nu ren” “nu hai” “nu xia”?…….
Also, what is a nice way to call your girlfriend a pretty girl?

Usually, we call a young girl as “nu hai” and a married girl as “nu ren”. But actually it does matter too much. For a pretty girl, you may say “paio4 liang4 de nu hai” or “ke3 ai4 de nu hai”.

Hi Kevin,

Like what Jenny said: “nǚ hái = girl, nǚ rén = woman”

You can also use “měi nǚ” for pretty girl
