i am getting confused about the word “where” sometimes it is" nar" and sometimes it is "nali"can you clarify this.

I not totally sure, but I believe in Beijing they use 儿 (er) after a lot of words. Down south they use 里(li). Why I don’t know but if somebody has more to add I would really liketo hear it.

That’s exactly true Peter.

People in Beijing like to put “er”. In the south we do not have this habit
