hello Benny, gong xi fa cai!

During Chinese new year, there’s the phrase “long mah jing shen” always being mentioned.

Though sometimes me and my friends would always joke that it means “dragon horse sperm god” when directly translated, I’ve realized that I never knew what it really meant.

Is “dragon’s and horse’s energy” a close guess? Please let me know, thanks!

Hi effhashemm, you’re right. “dragon’s and horse’s energy or spirit" is the closest translation. It means I wish you as energetic as the dragon and the horse.
