        ni hao Benny
i did your lesson on how to say your nationalitiy. so to say chinese is zhong guo ren.
my question is does the “ren” only apply when talking about a person.
the reason i ask is that i was on the bus and i saw a chinese resturant and its name had “chinese resturant” in it. i remembered the symbol for ren (like an upside down Y) and i couldnt see this character in the translation.

 | | | | Hi Bob, “rén” is used when talking about a person. I think the character you saw is “丫 = yā" not ren Benny
