*zhe shi yi ge" = this is a

*na shi yi ge" = that is a

About the telling the time, in Chinese, o’clock is dian, for example, it’s 6 o’clock, we say “xian zai liu dian”. “xian zai” means “now”, “liu” is 6.

more examples:

seven past five = qi dian guo wu fen (“guo” is past, and “fen” means minute)

six twenty = liu dian er shi

half past three = san dian ban (“ban” means half)

eight to five = wu dian cha ba fen (here “cha” means to)

Ok, that’s almost all ways to tell the time. Keep practice!
