Hi Hannahkim,
“Hěn gāoxìng rènshi nǐ” literally means “very happy to meet you” but as for English, people usually say “Nice meet to you”.
That’s why we chose to translate like this
Benny can i just say in mandarin,
“gāoxìng rènshi nǐ”??

thanks I have read that hen 很 is often mis translated as very, although it can mean very it usualy doesn’t, like hen hao 很好 means “good” not “very good”.
Only when the emphasis is on 很 it means “very”…
