Hello Benny, Its a pleasure to meet u again. I have 2 questions I would like to ask:

1) What is the diff. between die1 跌 and diao4 掉? Do i say wo3 de qian2 bao1 die1 le or use diao4 instead of die1?

2) Which is the correct sentence, “qi3 jia4” or “zhang3 jia4” (raise/rise price)

Hi Henry,

It’s a pleasure to help you.

1. “跌” means “fall down” and “掉” means “drop or something is lost”

2. zhǎng jià 涨价 is the right word for “rise price”
