Monmon,
Zai4 means “to be at/in” “我在家里面 wo zai jia li mian” translates to “i’m inside the house”

Zai4 also means “again” “我再打电话 wo zai da dian hua” translates into “i will call again”

You can use xian4 zai4 现在 which means “currently” like “现在开车 xian zai kai che” which means “right now i’m driving”.

Hopefully those answer your question.
