ni hao Andrew, How much does that/ this cost in Chinese we say:

zhè ge/ nà ge duō shǎo qián = how much is this/ that (no need to say “cost”)

(Zhè ge/ nà ge) yì bǎi kuài/ yuán = This / that is 100 yuan

American dollar in Chinese is “měi yuán”, cents in Chinese is " fēn", but we seldom use cents these days because this currency is too small. Nowadays we use “jiǎo”, one “jiǎo” equals 10 cents.
