What’s the difference between ‘ke3 shi4’ and ‘dan4 shi4’? Both mean ‘but’ right? When to use one and when to use the other?

Thanks v much

Hi Dramore,

Ke shi and dan shi are the same, both mean “but” and they could be interchanged.
