ni hao Amaga, learning Character and strokes takes long time, even for Chinese people we need to spend a few years to manage how to write. And if you don’t practice, you will forget.

I would suggest you to practice writing at least 30mins a day, you may buy an exercise book, each character or stroke write for 5-10 times. Or when you have enough vocabularies you may write some short articles in Chinese. Thus it helps you to memorize
