 | | | | Henry,In additon to zui jin, you may also use “zhè xiē rì zi” and “jìn lái(近来)”. zhèng means “be doing sth” and often used together with"zài"eg: wǒ zhèng zài chī wǎn fàn=I am having a dinner.
I just finished eating rice= wǒ gānggāng chī wán fàn.

 | | | | What you said is almost correct Jenny, just a small mistake for the sentence: I just finished eating rice= wǒ gānggāng chī le wán fàn You should add “le” as for past tense Thank you for your help Benny | | |
